Beginning in 2023, parking services will cost a bit more in Lexington. LexPark will be applying a 6% sales tax to on-street metered parking + hourly or daily parking in garages. 🚙 (WKYT)

Economists from the University of Kentucky are predicting record-high receipts from the state’s agriculture and forest economies. Despite weather + supply chain challenges, sales are expected to reach $8 billion. Sales in 2021 totaled $6.9 billion. (UK College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment)

Lexington’s “Christmas House” is back on display for the holiday season. Located at 1008 Chinoe Rd., this residential home boasts a massive holiday light display that’s free for visitors to view. Civic
Today’s City Council meeting will be the last one of the year. Council will be making its final vote on whether or not to proceed with the installation of more Flock cameras. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. and can be live-streamed via LexTV.
