Have you ever driven past an empty building and thought, “That would make a great __________?”

That’s the question we ask in our Be the Broker series. And guess what? We’re back with another installment (and we’ve got some status updates from our first edition, too.)

New to market

Today — we’re sharing 647 E. Main St. which is available for lease.

Most recently, this 1930s building was the home of J.A.D.E — Jameson Automated Design Environments.

It’s located at the corner of East Main Street and Walton Avenue, across from the new La Taquiza and Biscuit Belly.

The single-story building has exposed brick, tall ceilings, and large glass windows for maximum natural light. Bonus: It also has two storefront entrances.

The property is zoned B-1, or neighborhood business, and is ideal for retail or office.
  • Size: 1,019 sqft
  • Price: $2,500/month
So, what do you think? Let us know what you’d like to see go here.

Lexington Sporting Club has found a (temporary) home.

The professional soccer team just announced they signed a multiyear deal with Georgetown College to host home games at Toyota Stadium. The team’s permanent home is still up in the air, pending the City’s approval of a proposed ~$20 million complex on Athens Boonesboro Rd.

Did you know? Toyota Stadium was also home to the Cincinnati Bengals’ Summer Training Camp from 1997-2011.

For now, the 5,000-seat venue will provide a “fan-friendly atmosphere” said principal owner Bill Shively, as well as a professional environment for the team.

While ticket deposits are sold out for home matches, you can still get on the waitlist to be alerted when spots open up.

Here’s the preliminary home schedule:

⚽ Saturday, April 8 at 7 p.m. vs Forward Madison
⚽ Saturday, April 15 at 7 p.m. vs South Georgia Tormenta FC
⚽ Saturday, April 22 at 7 p.m. vs Greenville Triumph SC
