While the city continues to clean up from last week’s winds, it is also providing guidance on how you can dispose of remaining debris. Smaller limbs can be placed into gray yard waste carts and larger debris can be dropped off at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike now through Friday, March 10.

Lexington Vegan Week is coming back this year, this time sponsored by Black Soil Kentucky. From Sunday, April 23-Saturday, April 29, dozens of restaurants around town will highlight vegan cuisine. Restaurants interested in participating can fill out this registration form and learn how to get involved.

Bourbon is ingrained into Lexington’s identity — and it’s not just us that knows this. State
To recognize Kentucky’s inventiveness, Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance is hosting the inaugural Coolest Things Made In Kentucky Tournament. Anyone can enter the bracket-style competition, so long as their product was made in the state. Nominations must be submitted by Sunday, March 19. The winner will be announced Friday, April 28.
