Lexington Police Department is considering expanding body camera technology to start recording when they use vehicle sirens and lights. Currently, LPD body cams start when officers draw a gun or taser. The modification on both body + dash cams will be tested out for the next few months. (WEKU)

Tomorrow, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. is the 15th annual Ball Homes Night of Hope at the Lexington Opera House. The evening will serve as a fundraiser for The Hope Center and feature music, sharing stories, and discussion with featured speaker former MLB player Darryl Strawberry.

Kentucky Children’s Hospital (KCH) unveiled its newest gallery, “Pups of Color,” featuring a collection of portraits of the hospital’s therapy dogs.
