We’re taking a trip around the world just by going around the block. A global cuisine spot will join the newly formed Locations Restaurant Group, aka the team behind Corto Lima. So, without further ado, say hello to 3TEN.
The concept will take over the former home of Creaux, the New Orleans-themed bar and restaurant that just closed at 310 West Short St. And while 3TEN may not be taking you to one specific region, it will give you a chance to get wide variety of flavors thanks to its expansive, internationally themed menu.
The vibe will be small plates and shareable dishes, introducing guests to a variety of global flavors and a menu of rotating plates with influence from the Mediterranean, pan-Asian, and Latin America.

“I’m going in a lot of different directions and enjoying the freedom of not being glued to a specific concept,” said Chef Jonathan Lundy, a James Beard Award semifinalist. “There’s so much I want to do to make it interesting, fun, and playful.”
To complement Chef Lundy’s desire for a fluid, whimsical menu, his longtime business partner TJ Cox, a certified sommelier, will curate a menu of 30+ cocktails and wines from around the world.
Together, the two have 55+ years of experience working with Lexington restaurants, including ItalX and Roy and Nadine’s, which they cite as inspiration for 3TEN.
3TEN is anticipated to open this fall — we’ll provide more details, like specific menu items, as they emerge.

The Fourth of July is this Thursday, and Lexington has a lot happening. To help you make the most of your celebrations, we’re rounding up a few events that are happening around town this week.
Pack your picnic setup and some lawn chairs at Moondance Amphitheater for a special patriotic edition of Big Band & Jazz, including live music from Lexington Summer Concert Band.
Head to the Courthouse Plaza and Tandy Park to enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, food and drink vendors, and an art market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Plus, the Fourth of July Parade will take place at 12 p.m. on Main Street.
My favorite summer flavor has to be orange creamsicle. Nothing screams summer as a kid like begging my mom for $5, chasing down the ice cream truck, and grabbing those citrus, creamy popsicles.
