  • Brewer Dude, a homebrew supply shop + microbrewery, has moved into the former Studio Mel space in the Warehouse block. Celebrate its fresh start at its grand re-opening event this Friday, Oct. 11 from 5 to 10 p.m. Bonus: It’ll be pouring Pivot pints while supplies last.

  • The city is hosting a trash disposal day this Saturday, Oct. 12, 6 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bluegrass Regional Transfer Station. Residents can dispose non-hazardous household waste, including furniture + tires, for free. Additional items like electronics and building material will be accepted for a fee.

On, on, U of K. It’s homecoming week for UK which means a big blue takeover is coming to Lexington. Now through Sunday, Oct. 13, UK will host dozens of events celebrating all things blue + white while connecting Wildcats of today and years past.
