The city is hosting a trash disposal day this Saturday, Oct. 12, 6 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bluegrass Regional Transfer Station. Residents can dispose non-hazardous household waste, including furniture + tires, for free. Additional items like electronics and building material will be accepted for a fee.

On, on, U of K. It’s homecoming week for UK which means a big blue takeover is coming to Lexington. Now through Sunday, Oct. 13, UK will host dozens of events celebrating all things blue + white while connecting Wildcats of today and years past.
