What do quality care, access to the latest + most innovative treatments, and a team of experts have in common? You can find them all at UK HealthCare.

UK HealthCare saves lives — and helps patients get back to the lives they love. When the stakes are highest, it’s where you want to be. Why? We’re glad you asked:

In-house specialists

With 20 nationally-ranked and high-performing specialties, UK HealthCare’s team of in-house specialists offers top-notch care in:
  • Cardiology
  • Nephrology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Neurology
  • Oncology
  • And more
Bonus: Their network of clinics and physicians provides expert-level care and support for Kentuckians throughout the state.

Personalized care + innovative treatments

Medicine isn’t one size fits all. And UK HealthCare’s doctors and researchers understand that. Every day, they work together as one healthcare team to ensure patients are receiving the specific care that fits their individual diagnosis best. With more specialists and specialties, patients can find treatment options for even the rarest and most complex conditions.

And thanks to in-house researchers and clinical trials, patients get access to the very latest treatments and therapies — sometimes sooner than they would anywhere else.

A round of applause

In 2024, the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital at UK HealthCare was once again named the No. 1 hospital in Kentucky and the Bluegrass Region in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings and ratings.

In a new category, the hospital received the designation of Best Regional Hospital for Equitable Access, recognizing its success in caring for patients in underserved communities. It was the only hospital in Kentucky to receive this designation.

Additionally, six adult specialties at UK HealthCare and 14 common adult procedures and conditions received a high-performing designation.
