Bourbon
Just after the American Revolution, a little place called Bourbon County, Kentucky became synonymous with a process already familiar to European settlers — taking corn, barley, or rye and aging it.

Ale-8-One
When you walk into any Kentucky restaurant or grocery store, you’ll spot these iconic green bottles. Invented in Winchester, Ale-8 has been the ginger ale-inspired staple of the area for nearly one century.

Health

National Public Health Week with the University of Kentucky began yesterday. Through April 13, the public can participate in events, service activities, and more. Kick off festivities with the National Public Health Week Parade today at noon, starting from 111 Washington Ave. and traversing just under 1.5 miles.
