The Haley House, a domestic violence shelter named after a 14-year-old boy who died by suicide, is coming to Georgetown this August. The only shelter of its kind in Scott County, it will be able to provide housing to about 20 domestic violence survivors. (LEX18)

Safely dispose of scrap paper and outdated documents tomorrow, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the city’s annual paper shred event. Participation in this environmentally friendly event is free to Lexington residents.
