Effective today, Kentucky school districts will monitor teacher-student communication through designated platforms. The traceable communication outlined in Senate Bill 181, one of many new Kentucky bills, aims to protect both students and teachers; moving forward, social media, personal phones, and third party apps won’t be acceptable means of communication.
