Plan Ahead

The 250Lex Forward Bash, a free community event part of Lexington’s 250th anniversary celebrations, is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9, 4-7 p.m. at The Burl. Think: Live music, food, drinks, and networking opportunities. Admission is free — registration is required.

    Sports

    Go, Wildcats. Kentucky Football Fan Day is slated for Saturday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. Stop by for open practice at Joe Craft Football Training Center, free 2025 season posters, and information about 2025 season ticket packages.

    Kids

    The YMCA of Central Kentucky is launching its first all-girls NFL FLAG football league in Lexington this fall. Early bird registration for all teams is open now through Sunday, July 27 — Pro tip: use code EARLYFB20 to save $20. Regular registration is open through Aug. 17.

    Registration is open for Leadership Woodford, a personal + professional development and leadership program hosted by Woodford County Chamber of Commerce. Participants will meet monthly to build skills and network at various county-wide locations. Registration closes Wednesday, Aug. 6.

    Pull out those planners, folks. On Saturday, September 20 the Lexington Philharmonic is bringing back Symphonic Stroll — where musicians perform chamber music in Josephine Sculpture Park. The 5th anniversary of this event will include interactive activities and food trucks. Tickets are available now.
