6AM City LEX Wildings Bookshop

Wildings Bookshop’s brand new merchandise is ready for opening day.

Photo provided by @wildings_bookshop

Kenwick, one of Lexington’s most beloved neighborhoods, is getting its newest community hub — this time mainly just for the kids.

Wildings Bookshop will have its soft opening on Saturday, Aug. 30 where you can discover its collection of books, paper goods, toys, and colorful crafts. Located in a familiar area, the “teeny tiny” bookshop shares a space with Wilson’s Grocery, around the corner from the infamous Kenwick Table coffee shop.

My perfect day would include grabbing a matcha from Kenwick, browsing the bookshop launch, maybe even buying something for myself, and ending the day with a sandwich from Wilson’s in true Kenwick style.
