Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen announced yesterday that its Broadway at the Square café will not reopen. The Lexington-based café thanked patrons for their support and encouraged visits to its other Lexington and Louisville locations.

Standard and high-dose flu shots are now available at the University of Kentucky retail pharmacies for UK students, faculty, staff, and the greater Lexington area. (UKNOW)

Development

Applications recently opened for Lexington’s Corridors Enhancement Match Grant Program, which funds neighborhood projects like beautification, clean-ups, and tree replacement along 32 eligible roadways. The deadline is Friday, Oct. 10.

The Greenery, a coffee and social space in The Grove, has launched its new fall menu, featuring a Tiramisu Latte, Toffee Coffee, and Apple Chai-der. The seasonal drinks are now available for coffee lovers seeking warm, autumn-inspired flavors.

Three winning Powerball tickets were recently sold in Kentucky — one worth $100,000 in Louisa and two worth $50,000 in Louisville and online. Kentucky Lottery officials urge winners to sign their ticket, keep it safe, and claim prizes within 180 days. (WKYT)
