Cause

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is giving away free socks, blankets, and baby sleep sacks throughout October at community centers across the city. The initiative aims to provide warmth and comfort to individuals and families in need while supporting the community’s most vulnerable members.

Lexington officials are seeking a large tree to serve as the city’s downtown holiday centerpiece. The chosen tree will be decorated and lit for the season. Residents with a potential tree are encouraged to contact Lexington Parks and Recreation for consideration. (WKYT)
