Calling all Lorelais, Rorys, and Lukes — a charming downtown is transforming into Stars Hollow for a “Gilmore Girls” weekend in Versailles. Grab your coffee, coffee, coffee and channel your inner Lorelai this Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a day of caffeine-fueled shopping, themed treats, and small-town charm.
The festival is hosted by several downtown Versailles businesses, including Tiny Bird Bookshop, The Amsden, My Darling & Co., and more.
The Amsden released a specialty menu for the festival, including Luke’s Diner–themed drinks and specials; custom coffee sleeves + stickers with the option to choose Team Dean, Jess, or Logan; and a Luke’s Diner playhouse for kids.
Menu options include Coffee Coffee Coffee, Rory’s Autumn Chai Tea Latte, Sookie’s Cinnamon Roll Latte, and more. Attendees can also enjoy fall-inspired photo ops, crafts, family-friendly activities, and outdoor screenings of classic “Gilmore Girls” episodes throughout the day.

Georgetown’s Wylie Messer, a welding and advanced manufacturing teacher at Great Crossing High School, was recognized as one of 25 recipients of the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence.
