The City of Lexington Parks & Recreation is back with its final monthly Yappy Hours and this time with a spooky twist.
Dress your furry friend in their best costume and head to Jacobson Park this Wednesday, Oct. 29 for a Howl-o-ween party.
There will be a “pay-what-you-like” costume contest with a $5 suggestion, where your pup can earn a prize for categories like “Greatest DIY” and “Best Overall.”
Pro tip: Humans can get in on the fun too, as there’s often food trucks, live music, and vendors to explore.

I took my furry friend, Jojo, to Camp Bow Wow for a free consultation last week. After 30 minutes of observed playtime and a chat with staff, she stayed the rest of the day for free.
The full-service facility offers daycare, boarding, training, and grooming.
Fun fact: Camp Bow Wow is a preferred partner of the Lexington Humane Society.
