‘Tis the season for holiday displays to light up the city. Here are some festive findings around Lexington so you can let it glow.

Jones Family Christmas Light and Music Show, 1748 Abbington Hill

Now in its 12th year, this unique light show is crafted by Ryan Jones, who is blind, and features more than 15,000 lights synchronized to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Mt. McKinley Lights, 2956 Mt. McKinley Way

Tucked away across the street from the Park Hills Shopping Center is a light show unlike any other. Come see the massive Grinch inflatable and stay to enjoy a synchronized display that emulates all things community.

Toronto Road Holidays, 200 Toronto Rd.

Can you say holy inflatable? This home on Toronto Road does not mess around, with a community of inflatables decorating its lawn.

Winter Village at Gatton Park, 795 Manchester St.

New to Lexington’s holiday lineup, visitors can wander through thousands of lights, cozy igloos, fire pits, and an 80-foot digital LED tree.

The Wrap

A raccoon in Virginia was the first victim to fall foul of holiday season merriment this year. Liquor store employees found the animal passed out in the bathroom after he broke in and had one too many. We recommend celebrating the holiday responsibly at a local happy hour.
