Lex Deli will soon be celebrating its grand reopening as 51st Deli, according to a social media post. 51st Deli is expanding from Nashville to Lexington serving up deli favorites and original recipes, including sandwiches, tacos, salads, and more.

If you’re looking for an early event to ring in the new year, Southland Lanes is hosting a New Year’s Youth Party tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. The family friendly event is offering a $95 per lane special, which includes two hours of bowling and shoe rental for up to eight people. Purple Yum Bakery, a local Asian bakery, is now serving tanghulu, often called the “fruit lollipop” of China. Fruit is served on a stick with a candy shell, giving a crunch like creme brulee. Purple Yum is currently offering strawberry tanghulu.
