$1.08 million and $1.7 million. That’s the range of the top ten highest salaries at UK — aka one of LEX’s largest employers — according to reports from the Lexington Herald-Leader.
School administrators and athletics staff were among the highest paid employees at the school, but the majority of full-time roles held at UK include professors, research specialists, healthcare workers, and administrators.

Lexington will remain under an extreme cold warning until late this morning, according to the National Weather Service. Safety recommendations include dressing in layers while outside and during travel, frequently checking on the elderly, and using your generators correctly + keeping them outside.

UK HealthCare announced a multiphase renovation of its Birthing Center beginning in March. The Mother Baby Unit will relocate to Pavilion A as upgrades roll out through 2029. Plans include four additional labor and delivery rooms, expanded OB emergency services, enhanced resources for high-risk mothers, and more. (UKNow)
