If a “For Sale” sign might be in your future, these home upgrades could offer the best return on investment, according to Zillow.
  • Steel entry door replacement | Replacing your door with a more secure option costs around $2,435, with a potential resale value of $5,270 — a recoup rate of about 216%. This Cape Cod-style Morrison Avenue property is already ahead of the curve with a classic steel entry door.
  • Manufactured stone veneer | Giving your home’s exterior a rustic feel has an estimated cost of $11,702 and could increase resale value by about $24,328 — that’s a recoup rate of roughly 208%. This new build in the Hamburg area features a flattering mix of veneer and siding.
  • Kitchen remodel | A minor midrange kitchen remodel has an estimated cost of $28,458 and could boost resale value to about $32,141 — a recoup rate of around 113%. Modern hardware, bright cabinets, and a clean backsplash — this Pinnacle home is move-in ready.
