While exact weather conditions typically can’t be predicted more than a week in advance, here’s a seasonal outlook to help you prepare for what spring will bring.

Temperature

Think warm. This spring, Lexington has a 33-40% chance of temperatures being higher than normal.

Precipitation

Expect slightly more precipitation. Lexington has a 40-50% chance of seeing higher than average rainfall amounts this spring.

March

Typically in Lexington, March’s temperatures fluctuate between an average low of 35.8° and an average high of 56.1°, but expect to see more of those warmer days this year.

April

April in Lexington typically sees average high and low temps between 66° + 45°. We still recommend having an umbrella — what’s that saying about April showers?

May

Feel free to whip out the short sleeves. Average temperatures in May will range between 56.6° and 74° — pretty comfortable if you ask us. But like most Kentucky springs, don’t forget to pack the raincoat along for your outdoor adventures.
