Burl Brew, 371 Thompson Rd. | Bring your pup to the Burl Campus for a variety of spots to hang, including the lawn, arcade, and brewery.

West Sixth, 501 W. Sixth St. | Cool off with a cold beer in open-air spaces like the Beer Garden and patio.

The Void Sake Company, 819 National Ave., Ste 190 | Try out a flight of sake while browsing local art with your pup.

Wise Bird Cider, 1170 Manchester St. | Sit and stay awhile at this Distillery District cidery and grab some bites from its food truck, Little Fork. Bonus: Little Fork offers GF, vegetarian, and vegan fare.

Harkness Edwards Vineyard, 5199 Combs Ferry Rd., Winchester | We can’t think of a better weekend outing than sipping wine next to our canine friends — just keep the pups away from the grapes.

Ghost Fox Winery, 2385 Chrisman Mill Rd., Nicholasville | While dogs are welcome inside, we think the large expansive patio and outdoor space is the perfect place for you, your pup, and a glass of Pinot.

Evans Orchard, 1783 Newtown Pike, Georgetown | There’s nothing cuter than a family photo opp with your pup at the pumpkin patch.

The Sage Rabbit, 438 S. Ashland Ave. | Fur friends are encouraged at this farm-to-table restaurant, and they just might make the “Dogs on the Patio” section of its website.

Boonedogs, 5902 Old Richmond Rd. | This hot dog joint’s outdoor seating is like a giant, welcoming backyard.

Kentucky Native Café, 417 E. Maxwell St. | Enjoy a soft pretzel + beer cheese with your best fur friend while taking in the ambiance of this hidden garden oasis. Note: The cafe is currently on a fall break through Dec. 2.

Local Taco, Multiple locations | A Southern-fried chicken taco alongside your four-legged friend — name a better duo.

County Club, 555 Jefferson St. | Hide your plate, because your pooch will definitely want a paw on this Northside fan-favorite’s smoked meats.

Rolling Oven Taproom, 140 Court St., Versailles | Head to the Versailles taproom for pizza and pups on the patio.

Double Dogs, 1916 Justice Dr. | The name and slogan say it all — you and your canine crew are invited to sit, stay, and eat on the patio. Pro tip: Try the famous milkshake.

A Cup of Common Wealth, 105 Eastern Ave. | Not only is this coffee shop right across the street from Thoroughbred Park, but the staff will also happily greet your fur baby with a pup cup.

High on Art & Coffee, 523 E. High St. | All tips at this art and coffee shop are split between employees + various charities, including pet-friendly ones like Paws4theCause.

Jacobson Park Dog Park, 4001 Athens Boonesboro Rd. | Check out Lexington’s first dog park, featuring eight acres divided into two paddocks.

Masterson Station Dog Park, 3051 Leestown Rd. | Romp around 15 acres of fun divided with horse-farm style fencing to keep your pal safe. Water hydrants are available.

Wellington Dog Park, 565 Wellington Way | Located in the Clays Mill Road area, this park features seven acres located just outside New Circle Road.

Coldstream Dog Park, 1850 Pisacano Dr. | Located off Newtown Pike right behind Embassy Suites, it’s Lexington’s only dog park with a separate paddock devoted to small dogs.

Veteran’s Dog Park, 650 Southpoint Dr. | Your pup will enjoy exploring four acres of this park — a pet bowl is available if the pup gets thirsty.

21c Lexington, 167 W. Main St. | Staycation in the heart of downtown in one of the pet-friendly rooms at this boutique hotel that doubles as an art museum.

Original Hotel Lexington, 4174 Rowan | Dogs up to 50 pounds are welcome with a $50 pet fee. Add on the $50 Pup-Pack that includes a dog bed, placemat, food and water bowls, a dog toy, and an Origin bandana.
