  • The Kentucky Castle announced it is expanding its property + visitors will now be able to enjoy The Farm at The Kentucky Castle. Guests can tour the grounds, meet the new farm animals, book horseback riding, and more. Staycation, anyone? 🏰
  • The international percussion sensation STOMP is coming to the Lexington Opera House Thurs., Feb. 24 + Fri., Feb. 25. Showtimes start at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Tickets start at $54 and are on sale now. 🛢️
  • The sponsors + artists partaking in LexArts’ Horsemania 2022 have been hard at work making selections for this year’s lineup. The final selections will be on display during tonight’s Gallery Hop at LexArts.  
  • 9 billion. That’s how much money the bourbon industry contributed to the state in 2020. Gov. Andy Beshear + the Kentucky Distillers Association unveiled the 2021 economic study and found that the bourbon industry employs 22,000+ people with $1.23 billion in annual payroll. The competition aims to highlight + celebrate regional makers, craftsmen, and businesses that manufacture products in the US.   • Did you know, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office offers a Winter Care Program when snowy and icy weather causes treacherous travel conditions?   • Transylvania University has a new offering for its students with the creation of the new Center for Entrepreneurship. The program will focus on giving students from all academic majors the opportunity for extracurricular + experiential programs, workshops, and internships to promote creativity and innovation.
