  • 9 billion. That’s how much money the bourbon industry contributed to the state in 2020. Gov. Andy Beshear + the Kentucky Distillers Association unveiled the 2021 economic study and found that the bourbon industry employs 22,000+ people with $1.23 billion in annual payroll.   • Transylvania University has a new offering for its students with the creation of the new Center for Entrepreneurship. The program will focus on giving students from all academic majors the opportunity for extracurricular + experiential programs, workshops, and internships to promote creativity and innovation.
