  • Mayor Linda Gorton has established an Opioid Abatement Commission to make recommendations on how to distribute funds from the National Opioid Litigation settlement. Mayor Gorton named Dr. Stephanie M. Raglin chair of the commission. Other members include Police Chief Lawrence Weathers and County Attorney Angela Evans.

  • UK football’s 2024 SEC matchups have been announced. The team will take on Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt at home and travel to Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas. See the upcoming 2023 season schedule.

  • $159,079,024. That was UK athletics’ total revenue in 2022, surpassing the previous year’s revenue by ~$13 million. One thing about me is that I absolutely love charcuterie boards. My go-to ingredients are an extra creamy brie, the Unexpected Cheddar Cheese from Trader Joe’s, smoked gouda, an assortment of crackers, red pepper jelly, and dark chocolate-covered almonds. I don’t eat meat, but I’ll typically add salami, prosciutto, and pepperoni for my friends and family to enjoy.
