It’s soup season, LEX. There’s nothing better than a hot bowl of soup on a cold winter day or when you’re feeling a little under the weather.
We asked for your favorite spots, so today we’re serving up those places around the Horse Capital of the World that cook up “good soup.” Fun fact: Based on your submissions, Lexington seems to have a love affair with a classic tomato soup.
The tomato basil chicken soup at this local pizza spot was by far the most loved + recommended soup across our social media posts. “I don’t even really like soup and that stuff is addicting.” — @jackieherbwinter
The second most popular spot to get local soups was this Southland staple. In particular, our followers love the potato soup, Mexican corn chowder, and the classic tomato soup with grilled cheese.
