A new 122,000-sqft Kroger will be coming to the Northwest side of town. Last week, city council approved a $30 million Kroger Marketplace to be built at 760 Newtown Springs, next to the Amazon facility. Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate will debut a new tour during its open house on Saturday, Feb. 24, 1-4 p.m. The tour will unveil new images and material pertaining to the history of African American people who were enslaved and later employed at Ashland from 1808 to 1948.
