• A popular seafood restaurant is under new ownership. Charlie’s Seafood has been owned by Barry + Patty Sissle since 2003. • A $1.5 million underpass is coming to the intersection of Newtown Pike + Citation Boulevard to create safer access to The Legacy Trail. The change comes as construction is set to begin on widening Newtown Pike to six lanes. Both projects are expected to take two to three years to complete. (Lexington Herald-Leader)

• Registration is open for the 2024 Composting Workshops hosted by Lexington Parks & Recreation.
