Lexington Professional Baseball announces team name

After some not-so-subtle hints over the past month, it’s officially official. The new owners of Lexington Professional Baseball have announced that the club will return to its original name, the Lexington Legends.

“This is an exciting time for all of us. We are here now to bring baseball in Lexington back to the glory days,” said Alan Stein, partner and former president of Lexington Professional Baseball. “We know that this is a community asset and it belongs to you.”

Along with a new logo, the team also announced some new faces are being added to the club.
