A local staple is moving one of its locations to the Meadowthorpe neighborhood. Bourbon n’ Toulouse will close its South Broadway location this year and move to Townley Center in the former Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen. Last week, the board for Fayette County Public Schools passed a tax cut on real estate and personal property + maintained the rate for motor vehicle taxes for the 2025 fiscal year. According to Board Chair Tyler Murphy, this “allows us to lower the rate while still fulfilling the budget obligations approved in May.” (Lexington Herald-Leader)
