  • The Institute on Race, Power, and Public Equity recognized Lexington as a leader in spending its American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to promote equity. ARPA Project Manager Jenifer Wuorenmaa noted the city used a portion of $121 million to support affordable housing, violence prevention, and public space improvement.

  • The Lexington Legends are getting ready to slide home for their 2025 season, commemorating their 25th anniversary in Lexington. The American professional baseball team released their upcoming schedule, and ticket packages are now available by calling the box office.

Fall is here, and its cooler weather and colorful foliage makes taking a hike in the Lexington area even better.

Note: We recommend checking park websites before visiting to check current trail conditions and hours.

Raven Run, Green Trail | 3885 Raven Run Way

If you’re looking for a true hiking oasis, look no further than Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. Take the Flower Bowl trail to view some native flora or our favorite, the Green Trail for the quickest route to the Kentucky River overlook.
