Three local Walgreens stores will close by the end of the year as part of nationwide closures. The Park Hills store will cease operations on Thursday, Nov. 14. Later, an East Reynolds Road location will close on Thursday, Dec. 5 — the same day as a store in Nicholasville. (Lexington Herald-Leader)

Heads up, the Lexington Farmers Market has officially transitioned to its winter hours. That means the Sunday Southland + Greater Gardenside markets are closed, and the downtown weekend market is now open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The Warehouse Block location is open through mid-November.

T-minus 19 days until the 2024 Southern Lights Stroll. The Kentucky Horse Park will kick off its holiday lights season with the annual fun + festive 5K on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m.
