Become a part of The Lyric’s song

The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center is inviting LEX to leave a lasting mark through its Wall and Walk of Honor Initiative. This unique fundraising effort allows individuals, businesses, and organizations to purchase engraved bricks or pavers, each bearing a personalized message. Whether it’s a cherished memory, a tribute to a special someone, or a friendly dedication, your words will become a permanent part of the Lyric’s storied history.
The Elm Tree Lane-facing wall of The Lyric already sports the names and well-wishes of numerous patrons throughout the years, and more names are on the way. The initiative supports The Lyric’s mission to celebrate and preserve its cultural legacy while offering donors a chance to be immortalized at the iconic venue.
Fill out and return this form or email The Lyric for more information on how to join in honoring its past while building a vibrant future as a performance venue, community center, and guardian of history.

Pro tip: Pocket Aces also offers breeding and pinhooking partnership opportunities. | Photos provided by Pocket Aces Racing; GIF created by LEXtoday
For 20 years, Pocket Aces Racing has offered an exciting and affordable way to dive into thoroughbred ownership — without breaking the bank.
Here’s how it works
Ownership opportunities start around $1,000, with options varying depending on the horse’s price and the number of shares available. Pro tip: Partnerships typically consist of 10 shares.
Maintenance expenses are billed quarterly, with an initial buy-in typically covering three to six months of fees upfront.
More than an investment
This investment is not just about the financials, it’s about the experience. Partners enjoy hands-on involvement at every stage, including:
Help choose your thoroughbred at the sale
Name the horse
Experience race day excitement at top tracks
Visit your horse at farms and training centers
Stay connected with race videos, winner’s circle photos, progress reports, and financial statements
Competing at top tracks like Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Saratoga, and Kentucky Downs, your horse will have ample opportunity to succeed.
Say merci to Bourbon n’ Toulouse for its Mardi Gras party planning. Place your carryout orders for Mardi Gras Party Packs or dine in on Cajun classics like alligator etouffee, shrimp creole, and king cake through Tuesday, March 4.

👋 Meet Molly
In your opinion, what is Lexington’s unofficial mascot?
The Big Blue Building.
You’re taking someone on a date in LEX. Where are you going?
It’s really hard to pick one, and I’m indecisive, so here are three of my favorites: Kentucky Native Cafe, Dudley’s (rooftop, especially), or charcuterie + candle making at Wick & Mortar.
👋 Meet Sam
What board game would LEX be?
SORRY! — bumping into each other and apologizing reminds me of traffic on Nicholasville Rd.
Fill in the blank. The coolest person I’ve met in LEX is_____:
William Shatner. He was out of this world.
A Diamond Dazzle Stick — aka, a travel-sized diamond cleaner pen that keeps jewelry sparkling on the go. Keep it in your purse for quick touch-ups so your rings will gleam. Bonus: It’s got 30,000+ five-star reviews.
