Hey Lexington, Molly + Sam here from LEXtoday. We wanted to share a bit about ourselves before we get back to writing about the city we all call home.

👋 Meet Molly

In your opinion, what is Lexington’s unofficial mascot?
The Big Blue Building

You’re taking someone on a date in LEX. Where are you going?
It’s really hard to pick one, and I’m in decisive, so here are three of my favorites: Kentucky Native Cafe, Dudley’s (rooftop, especially), or charcuterie + candle making at Wick & Mortar.

Other than yourself, who would you consider to be the local expert about LEX?
Erin Goins with Bites of the Bluegrass, she literally knows everything about our city and she makes history so fun + entertaining.

👋 Meet Sam
What were the last three things you did downtown?
A: A matinee at the Kentucky Theatre, a picnic in Gratz Park, and a class at the Carnegie Center. If you plan it right you can do all three in one day!

What board game would LEX be?
SORRY! — bumping into each other and apologizing reminds me of traffic on Nicholasville Rd.

Fill in the blank. The coolest person I’ve met in LEX is_____:
William Shatner. He was out of this world.
