Lexington Craft Beer Week ends Sunday, May 18, but it isn’t too late to pair some new LEX releases with some of our favorite local beer cheeses.

Bock Sabbath + Hall’s Original Snappy Beer Cheese
Blue Stallion Brewing Co.'s “Maibok-style” release is a hops-forward German lager that should stand up well to the sharp Wisconsin cheddar of Hall’s OG spread. Pace yourself: If you have too much of a good thing, you won’t be standing up at all.
Paddy Cakes + Bootlegger Beercheese
This new rice lager is available at all three locations that participated in the collaboration: Ethereal Brewing, Void Sake, and Trellis Brewing of Louisville. Pair it with the mild spread from Winchester-based Bootlegger Beer Cheese to bring out the beer’s light body, subtle sweetness + crisp finish.
