This weekend is a busy one in Lexington and we’re adding one more must-do to your list — the Chevy Chase Street Fair on Sat., Oct. 22 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pro tip: Euclid Avenue will be shut down from S. Ashland Avenue to High Street, so enjoy the sunshine by biking, walking, or scooting your way there.

Highlights

Check for family-friendly events from Lexington Fire Department + Live Green Lex in addition to these —

  • West Sixth beer stein holding competition | Sign-ups will be available day of with separate heats available for men and women — there’s space for 12 people in each heat.
  • Hair tinsel | Stop by Pelo Beauty Collective for complimentary hair tinsel installations + discounts on the salon’s services.
  • Pretzel-eating contest | Test your stomach strength with some Bear & the Butcher’s snacks.
