The Helix Garage closures, located on Main Street between the Lexington Public Library Central Branch and the Fayette County Clerk’s Office, began Oct. 5 and will continue through early November, temporarily limiting access to parts of the facility, according to LexPark.

The spherical exit ramp for levels 6–3 will close Sunday–Wednesday nights, 7 p.m.–5 a.m., now–Nov. 6, with two-way traffic and exits limited to level 2 toward Water or Main Street.

A full garage closure will take place from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. No vehicles will be allowed to enter or exit during that time, and any left in the garage after 6 p.m. on Nov. 6 may be towed.

Monthly Helix Garage clients will have access to the Transit Garage throughout the closure.

Pro tip: If you park at Helix Garage regularly, allow extra time and plan alternate routes during the upcoming closures to avoid delays.
