Peeps are on the shelves, pastel is everywhere, you know what that means — it’s the season of bunny photos and egg hunts. To soak up the sweetness of springtime, we’re rounding up Easter-themed events for every-bunny in the family.

Easter Egg-citement, 1396 Pinckard Pike, Versailles

On the first two weekends of April, Eckert’s Orchard invites families to spend time exploring the Eckert Carrot Patch. In true festive fashion, there will be the annual egg hunt, opportunities to visit with farm animals, tractor rides around the farm, cookie decorating, face painting, and of course, photos with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are $18.

Afternoon Tea, 230 Pisgah Pike, Versailles

The Kentucky Castle cordially invites you to a classic afternoon tea (or glass of champagne) on Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m. Enjoy a delicious, spring-inspired menu — tea sandwiches, scones + truffles — in the elegant grand ballroom. Tickets start at $70.

Spring Bunny Gardens, 212 Woodland Ave.

Children ages 4+ will love this springtime arts and crafts workshop. CREATE studio will host a themed class on Saturday, April 1 at 10 a.m. for kids to decorate bunny-shaped canvases and create their own spring bunny gardens. Registration is $20.

Egg Hunt, 3501 Lexington Rd., Harrodsburg

On Saturday, April 8, Shaker Village will host a family-friendly afternoon, with activities for kids 12 and under and kids at heart — including themed crafts, pony rides, farm animal visits, food trucks, and sips from the bar. Tickets start at $8.

Charcuterie and Wine Class, 5199 Combs Ferry Rd., Winchester

On Saturday, April 8, venture out to Harkness Edwards Vineyard for a hands-on workshop, where you’ll learn the art of creating an aesthetically pleasing themed charcuterie board with a glass of local wine. The class costs $56.

“Egg-stra” Special Easter Celebration, 2284 Barnes Mill Rd., Richmond

Sip on specialty slushies and snack on seasonal cupcakes at Chenault Vineyard’s Easter weekend celebration on Saturday, April 8. With your purchase, you’ll receive a prize egg with an opportunity to win free wine, gift cards, and more. Kids’ slushies will also be available.

A Traveling Cupcake will be coming to the Local Lex Market for a special hands-on class, Saturday, April 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. Here, you’ll learn the basics of sugar cookie + royal icing techniques, plus go home with your delicious creations and recipes to try again. The class is $55.

Afternoon Tea, 2304 Sir Barton Way

On Saturday, April 1 + Sunday, April 2, Hamburg Pavilion is hosting two special themed tea parties. Bring your own camera for photos with Alice and The White Rabbit, while enjoying tea, lemonade, and mini Crumbl cookies served by “talking flowers.”

Easter Brunch, 1800 Newtown Pike

Griffin Gate Marriott Golf Resort & Spa will be hosting two seatings — at 11 a.m. + 1 p.m. — for a festive bottomless brunch on Easter Sunday, April 9. Your meal purchase also includes photos with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt with prizes. Seatings start at $15.
