Ready, set, glow — the fourth annual Lex Glow Ride will be cycling back to Coolavin Park on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Lexington, and it’s one part festival + one part parade.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., guests are invited to attend a festival with activities, food, and safety stations. This aims to educate locals on bike and mobility safety while showing how biking can be a viable alternative form of transportation.

Then, at 7 p.m., get ready to shimmer. Riders will be led on a two-mile course where they can bike, scoot, or skate as they show off their reflective gear. This is a family-friendly activity, and all skill levels are invited to participate. Speeds will be limited to 5-10 mph.
