We soaked up the sun with Sheryl Crow and sang along with hometown hero Tyler Childers. Now, we’re looking back at this weekend’s Railbird Festival to see how it compares to years’ past.
After taking a hiatus in 2022 to reevaluate logistics, the festival seems to have come back bigger than ever. With a reported ~40,000 tickets sold, we chatted with festival attendees to see what they thought about the new venue at Red Mile and all other updates.
“It’s been fantastic; I think it’s been an upgrade over the past couple years. Access to water has been better, shade’s been better, and there’s just a better flow to it,” one attendee told us.
Reader Jonna I. said, “Incredibly well-organized and everything was so accessible. Completely stress-free day.” Caitlyn W. agreed, rating the logistics 10/10.
Until next year, Railbirders.
