5 fun things to do in Lexington this New Year’s Eve

Recently, a reader asked us about New Year’s Eve events in Lexington and we realized we better get to planning. Whether you want to dress up + dance or go for a more chill vibe, there’s something for everyone.

New Year’s Eve Gala | Fri., Dec. 31 | 7p.m. | The Kentucky Castle | $275 | Dine and dance the night away to the sweet sounds of the Jordan English Band. Don your black tie apparel + enjoy a three-course dinner, open bar, and champagne toast at midnight. Ticket sales end Tues., Dec. 28 and you can upgrade to VIP for an additional $50.

New Year’s Eve Party | Fri., Dec. 31 | 8 p.m. | The Grove | Prices start at $200 | Reserve tables for 2-10 people. Tables will receive at least one bottle of wine, one bottle of sparkling wine, one charcuterie board from Fable + Uber gift card. Ticket sales end Thurs., Dec. 30.

Hide and Seek: A 21c New Year’s Bash | Fri., Dec. 31 | 21c Hotel | $125 | Experience the museum hotel in a whole new way. The upstairs gallery will transform into a dance club with DJ Ben Welham + the downstairs Lockbox Lounge will host the sultry sounds of Lauren Elyise. Your ticket includes an open bar, light bites, and champagne toast.

Midnight Masquerade Bash | Fri., Dec. 31 | 7 p.m. | Pour Decisions | Prices vary | Enjoy music, dancing, and snacks from Skip the Fork. Tickets include a bottle of bubbly.

Rock House Silent Disco | Fri., Dec. 31 | 9 p.m. | Rock House Brewing | $20 | Get your groove on with tunes from two different DJs + three channels with this fun and funky event from Louisville Silent Disco. Your ticket also gets you two free drink passes for the evening.
