  • Nonprofit Project Ricochet will host the grand opening of its Health Promotion and Education Center tomorrow, 12-3 p.m, on Georgetown Street. The center will focus on providing health screenings + information, while supporting the nonprofit’s African American Barbershop and Beauty Salon Initiative, bringing health education into community spaces.

With Family Weekend taking over UK’s campus, tailgating before the home football game, and “The Book of Mormon” performances at the Lexington Opera House, there’s a lot going on around town.
