Registration is open for businesses wishing to participate as host sites for the Summer Youth Job Training Program. Hosted by Partners for Youth, the program gives high school students the opportunity to gain real-life work experience from local businesses. Applications for students are also being accepted.

UK professor Dr. Loka Ashwood has been named a recipient of the 2024 MacArthur Fellowship. Thanks to the “Genius Grant,” Dr. Ashwood will receive $800,000 over five years to continue studying the environmental, economic, and social challenges that rural communities face. She is one of 22 fellows to receive the honor. (UKNOW)
