Last year, LPM reported that hummingbird researchers in Kentucky began testing some novel — and very small — solar-powered tags to help track migration patterns.
Spring approaches, and our feathery friends will be flying their way back to Lexington, including the ruby-throated hummingbird, which is expected to migrate through our area around April 1-15.

Tonight at 5:30, the City of Lexington will host a public meeting for residents who may be impacted by the Merrick Trunk Sanitary Sewer Project — which plans to replace 7,200 feet of sewer pipes around Tates Creek Road, Armstrong Mill, and Dove Run Road. More details here.
