Between Friday night + Saturday morning, severe storms devastated Western Kentucky. Multiple tornadoes were reported — with the most destructive touching ground for a stretch of ~220 miles.

19 counties in the western part of our state felt the effects of this weekend’s storms. The damage was so extensive that Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency.

The Lexington Fire Department sent people + resources to aid in the search and rescue effort + we wanted to let you know how you can help too.

We’re listing off five different ways you can donate + help out your fellow Kentuckians affected by this weekend’s storms.
