In its seventh year, Art by Nature is citywide celebration of Lexington’s local landscape. The program utilizes the creative work of local artists to highlight the beauty of our surroundings + native plants to encourage environmental stewardship.

This year’s theme, Monarch Waystations, asks visual artists to create projects inspired by these 20 Monarch Waystation locations.

What type of art is accepted? Think:

  • Paintings
  • Photographs
  • Fiber art
  • Jewelry
  • Sculptures
  • Glass creations

Artists can submit up to three pieces, but only one will be selected per person. Submit your work by Friday, Sept. 13.

The exhibit will be on display for the whole community to see at The Living Arts & Science Center Friday, Oct. 18-Friday, Dec. 6.
