Let’s go back to school this fall — but make it fun. Because continuous learning throughout life not only decreases isolation, but also improves cognitive abilities, keeping your brain active + healthy.

As you may know, OLLI at UK offers educational, social, and community events for adults ages 50+ in our community. Don’t worry — there aren’t any tests or homework. Your only goal is to enjoy learning about something new and meet new people.

So, what classes are available? Here are six that we’d love to take this fall:

This course will discuss various naturally occurring poisons, including their sources and how they act on the body. Along with plants, this course also explores animal venoms + other natural poisons. Bonus: No science background is required.
