Put up those passports — we’re giving you the details on how you can take a trip around the world in one afternoon. DiverCity Festival returns to Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza next Saturday, May 25, where you can enjoy a full day of learning, immersing, embracing, and celebrating the many cultures woven into the fabric of Lexington.

We’re breaking down what you can expect when you venture into downtown, as well as how you can help encourage inclusivity in our community.

Who is DiverCity?

The board came together from the 2018-2019 Leadership Lexington class, who all had a desire and shared goal of highlighting their unique cultural experiences. The team hosted its first festival in 2019 and has maintained its objective ever since: Educate. Embrace. Celebrate.

If you’re interested in volunteering or becoming a board member of DiverCity, you can reach out to the team to learn more.
