Kroger, 760 Newtown Springs
A $30 million, 122,000-sqft Kroger Marketplace will be coming to the Northwest side of town next to the Amazon facility. It will feature 476 parking spaces, a drive-thru pharmacy, and gas station. Kroger is also rolling out a series of updates to three of its stores this year.
Lexington Mobile Market, various locations
The 60-ft truck-trailer makes several stops around town every month, bringing fresh produce and goods to underserved neighborhoods.
Publix, various locations
In the next few years, Florida-based Publix will open three locations
in Lexington. The first will be located at the Fountains at Palomar development, the second is slated for Citation Point near Georgetown Road, and the third is expected to be located at Romany + Duke Roads.
