The story of Beau’s Cafe, brunch, and the Beaumont of it all

In case you missed it, there’s a new brunch + lunch spot on the scene — Beau’s Cafe. And let’s just say it’s the sweetest local love story.

The Beaumont spot comes to us from childhood friends-turned-spouses Daniel and Ellidia Dupont. After spending time living in California, the couple asked themselves, “What if we could bring more healthy, fresh options to Lexington?”

Taking inspiration from their upbringing and support from fellow childhood friend, owner + Michelin-experienced chef Spencer Sirles, Beau’s Cafe was born.

From their already-iconic Dutch baby pancakes, endive-topped avocado toast (which can be made gluten-free), and fresh-pressed juices, Beau’s meets at the intersection of healthy and comforting food.

Ellidia adds that the goal of Beau’s — which is named after their neighborhood + son — is to be a local breakfast spot where you come in, see familiar faces, and feel at home — think of it as the “Cheers” bar of Lexington brunch.
