Ever wanted to get away, without having to really go anywhere? Well look no further than our own town, y’all. We have some pretty cool pads.

Whether you’re looking for a little treetop terrace out of town or want to enjoy dining + dancing downtown, Lexington’s list of unique Airbnbs offers several staycation options.

Cozy cabins

It’s cozy season at O’Neal Cabin | Photo by Airbnb

O’Neal Cabin | Sleeps 6 | 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms | $200+/night
Located just six miles from downtown Lexington, this two-story log cabin was built in the 1820s, reconstructed in the ‘90s + updated in 2019. The beautiful beams + cozy fireplace have us pretending we’re Cameron Diaz in “The Holiday.” Bonus points: The O’Neal Cabin is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Seclusion Cabin | Sleeps 4 | 2 bedrooms + 1.5 bathrooms | $200+/night
Itching for some quiet quality time in nature? Look no further than this custom cabin among the trees in the heart of the Red River Gorge. A two-acre property complete with an observatory tower, koi pond, and hot tub. Excuse us while we pack our bags for some R&R in the RRG.

City escapes

Top Shelf 1

Top Shelf | Sleeps 6 | 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms | $300+/night
This is the perfect location if you’re into pizza, ice cream, and live music. Top Shelf is literally 48 steps above Goodfellas in the Distillery District with cool, industrial decor and three high in the sky balconies. Pro tip: We’ve been to a surprise birthday party here + it was a hit.

Italianate House | Sleeps 12 | 4 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms | $400+/night
Milan, but make it closer. This property is actually a renovated 1880s duplex — giving you maximum bang for your buck. Both stays have access to a shared garden space and three parking spots. If you come downtown, you know how clutch that is.
